My friends would think it was sad if I didn't. Are these really friends?

I polish visible portion of exhaust (tips). If you actually polish entire exhaust by getting under the car, then you might be a bit obsessive about cleaning your car.

LOL.. I agree with everything everyone is saying. I also polish the rear exhaust tips, but keep it a secret because my friends would also call me sad. We should just keep it a secret.

If they saw natty looking exhaust tips on my car, my friends know me well enough that they would ask if everything was ok with me.

I put something on to see if the soot cleans off more easily, but haven't really checked to see if it worked. We're still under water use restrictions, so the car is never as clean as I'd like.

Our Admin (JimC64) not only polishes his exhaust tips but cleans the insides very effectively with Sonax Xtreme Wheel Cleaner.

I just use my regular wash soap and a stiff wheel brush. But I see a bit of stain that didn't come off last time, so I may have to move up to something a bit more aggressive. But the big shiny pipes on the V6 look awesome, so I like to keep them clean.
