screw in my tire!

Both commute and on track with the same car and PS4S tires. In commute they are reasonably quiet, have longer than typical very short sport tire life, have decent wet handling so I am not worried driving in the rain and allow me to put power down and take off from the stop light when necessary.
On the track, they stay predictable as they get hot, they have superb grip, almost what you would expect from a dedicated track tire and last reasonably long time while racing.
So you get what 10 years ago would be a racing tire performance with almost no downsides and it is also street legal.

I've only ever used Safety Seal nylon yarn plugs. I have no experience with the rubber plugs. I've used these on cars, trucks, construction equipment, motorcycles, atvs, etc. In Afghanistan, I even used them successfully on the sidewall of our NTV 4 door sedan which we nicknamed VBIED. I wouldn't do that on my vehicles at home, but those were extenuating circumstances.

Well I got the new tire on. It did pain me to spend $400 on another P Zero, but I am not ready to throw out all of the other tires when they had barely been worn down yet. I do plan on getting the Michelin PS4s at some point. I made the same switch on my SLK 55 AMG and it made a noticeable difference. Right now convincing the wife that I need to replace perfectly good tires is not in the cards! Thanks for all of the thoughts on this. I took the car out and everything drove like normal.

I have p-zeros on my X150 which it came with when I bought it. They are almost new but will be moving to another tire when it is time.
I find them harsh riding and noisy but stick well. As I like the GT aspect of the car rather than max roadholding performance,
I’d get something for more comfort and year round use. Looking at Tirerack, the Vredestein Quatrac Pro looks good as a touring tire. Netherlands is where they are made I think at least in the XKR sizes. Not a brand I am familiar with so any thoughts or experiences from the forum would be welcome.
