Hey folks ! I am having a little trouble with my seat positioning and the belt. The seat belt in my comfortable seat position is rubbing on my neck and its bothering me a lot. I am trying to see if any one else has the same problem and what you have done to solve it.. Is there a way we can adjust the seat belt height?

Thank you,

What seats (sport, sport-performance, performance or SVR)? Pleas create a signature block with your model and year. Answers to most questions are model & year dependent.
I had this problem and it annoyed the bejeebus out of me, so I fixed it.
The solution is to tie the shoulder strap down hard around about the middle of it so that seatbelt can't slide up, but not so tight that the belt can't slide freely through the strap.
First time around I used a large black zip tie, worked great but looked a little out of place.
A few months ago a bought a roll of velcro backed red felt tape (I have red seats) and cut a piece to length. This also works great, looks a bit better (although the red is not the same red as the seats) and I have oodles left over to replace the tie as it wears (and it's about due now). Others have found other velcro strip solutions.
Here's a pic of my first solution with the large black zip tie, to show you where to put it:
Thanks guys ! So its not just me ..
I hate it when it presses against my neck .. not a good feeling ! I will try to fix it like you guys did and find other solutions. Will keep this space posted !
I have the same problem on my XK. I put binder clip at the end where the belt retract into to keep it a bit 'loose'. Works like a charm (and the clip slides right off in the event of an accident).
I just found a pair of padded seat belt covers on eBay. Didn't save the location, and they haven't arrived yet. They have the logo, so they look like they might be o.k. in the looks department. Do not know how they will work, or if they will help. Maybe??
The location is definitely a problem. Not one of JLR's best features. Adjustable height would have helped.
After researching to resolve the same issue... I ordered these: Amazon "
ILIVABLE - Seatbelt Adjuster" TinyURL.com/yak2e5df All the others I found seemed to be too bulky. I have not received them yet but I will let you know haw they work out for me...
Looks like a good solution. Velcro closing might work better. Will be interesting to see how they work. Waiting with baited breath(herring on tongue?).
