Default Second thoughts on 2016 navigation

It's not that bad. The voice prompts for upcoming turns are more numerous than Google maps, and the lane map that pops up for exits is nice. The added reminder graphic between the gauges is helpful. We used it on Sunday for a ride to the Audrain in Newport. I used the navigation as Newport is not my usual hangout (i.e.poseur). Aside from the destination address sequence, which mimics Moriarty steering the Enterprise, it worked well. Ocean drive was fantastic! I saw one other F-Type, it appeared to be Italian red with CT plates, gave a quick wave. Aside, the exit numbers are not updated and I have not found a way to use Jag online, but otherwise perfectly usable.

My only "complaint" about the Nav in the F-Type is that is chronically overstates the driving time by 20% or so.

I would not mind having navigation in the cluster, but having UAD and CarPlay is much more desirable a situation IMO.

I just upgraded to the carplay wireless gadget here....way better. And I can do all the Siri things.

I've never been a fan of leaving on a trip without knowing exactly how you are going to get there (20 years as a B-52 Radar Navigator will do that for you), but I was pleasantly surprised at how well the on-instrument turn indications worked, especially around the many, many, many roundabouts we have around here. Just turn off the voice.

That's interesting, mine is pretty accurate on predicting arrival times here in the UK.
