Sadly, I may need to part with my 2017 F-Type British Design Edition. Only 8600 miles, perfect condition with paint correction and quartz coat. I am looking for advice on the best place(s) to lost the car to make sure it goes to a good home and brings a good price. Dealer is only offering $70k. Any suggestions/ recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I've always had luck with listings on AutoTrader. I use their App constantly (very easy to navigate). It's about $70 for a proper listing, but you can list it 'till it sells. Nothing wrong with listing a car on eBay either; I've sold several cars that way with success. Hemmings Motor News is another solid option for serious sellers/buyers.

You have to be realistic about you car value. KBB tell me 2017 F-type S British Design Edition with 8600 miles is $58-64K.

Yep, I have to agree with eeeeK, I think that $70K number a dealer gave you is outstanding. I know when we take really good care of our cars, its logical to think they are worth a lot more than the book value. Unfortunately, that may be true with real "Collector" cars, but what we have here doesn't fit in that category. I was surprised to hear such positive comments on selling on eBay....my experience was terrible. It seemed like most buyers were really looking for a great deal (a.k.a. selling it at some stupid low price). I had good experience selling 2 of my cars on "cars.com", but both of those were family type vehicles. Advertising here probably is a good idea, IMO....I know the GT-R owners have pretty good luck selling their cars on the GT-R Forum, the "For Sale" category. Good luck!

^^+1 and what others have said. If you want the most for your car, private party via autotrader.com is a good way to go, but you have to be realistic and you may have to go through a few prospective buyers to actually close the deal.. Cars depreciate fast those first 3 years, even when properly cared for.
