It's not an SES light as such, it's a "service due" message which pops up in the centre console (between the tacho and speedo).
It pops up when you start the car and then disappears after a few seconds, and it says "service due in xxxx miles (or km)", and counts down but very erratically depending on recent driving style.
Based on an inbuilt algorithm which uses certain things such as the last oil change mileage/date and driving habits.
All F-Types have the same mandatory service/oil change intervals, 12 months or 16,000 miles whichever comes first.
