You could see how far back I was hanging from you in that video T,I already had one pebble attack my windshield from your sticky tires so I was trying to avoid more, lol.
Thanks, I hope I didn’t do any damage to your windshield. I could hear them popping off mine as well through parts of the drive.

Thanks, I tried taking photos during the drive, but it was hard because I was in a group towards the back that was fairly aggressive and I had my hands full. I took some forward GoPro video shots of cars in front of me and haven’t had time to really go through it yet.

It's all good Jay,after talking with the group it sounds like new windshields are in everyone's future, lol!

Yeah, lunch was certainly rushed T...I for one would rather do a spirited run and then maybe a picnic-style lunch somewhere where the whole group can get together and share some lies...

- Better meeting spot. It was cool to be right next to the road but a larger parking lot would have been better to allow us to park in a tighter pack (easier to check out each other's cars). Also allow us to take some better photos before the drive (get in some cool formations).

- Meeting spot with a closer breakfast/coffee place. Would allow us to come, relax, chat, grab some coffee, pastries, etc. Thanks for the banana Rob!

- Mount my cameras on a mid and back pack car to get some more video footage.

- Combine single lane backroads (like Highway 84) with multi-lane freeway (like 280) for some better footage. Imagine 15+ F-Types all cruising down 280 taking over 4 lanes.

- Better pit spot location. Really wanted a nice group photo but we need a much larger space than La Honda Fire Station/Market.

- Better lunch location. My food was pretty good, but I felt the service was really rushed. Granted, looks like they might have been overwhelmed by 20 people in addition to their regular patrons. I also thought the patio would be much bigger/nicer (like it was at Half Moon Bay Brewing company).
Looked like a great day. Sad I couldn't make it. Will hopefully make the next one. June perhaps? What about northern Marin/Sonoma Coast as a destination?

Food trucks seem to be all the rage these days...if we can get 20 people X $20-$25 = $400-$500 I wonder if we can get a food truck to cater for us at our destination.

I'm going to push for somewhere that passes through Pacifica...we still need to do a tunnel run: Tom Lantos Tunnels - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 2nd longest tunnel in California!

That's a great idea,we had one of those taco carts a few years back at our house for a party and everyone loved it.

We should really see if we could get a national meet and greet at somewhere like Tail of the Dragon in summer or fall, (before the leaves fall)

I road my Honda CBR1000RR over the dragon a few times and around the area. I assume some of you have already been there, but for those that haven't...

East coast F-Typers need to organize one. As much as like to drive, doubt I'd do 3000 miles trek from California...

BTW, once the weather clears up for you guys, Bay Area F-Type wants to see if any other region can beat a 15 car drive! I know Southern California must have a lot of F-Types and there's no excuse w/ the weather for you guys. Come on SoCal, Florida, NY! Time to represent

You have a white coupe, just pretend one of the white coupe photos is yours

Was really hoping for some head-on video footage as we all came through La onda but apparently his GoPro froze

for our next drive I'm going to do it myself. after a midway pit stop I'm going to drive again to capture some video/photos. you want something done right, gotta do it yourself!

Fixable with a little Photoshop magic.

I'd love to swap grilles with you as I'd prefer to have a front grille with no emblems, but it appears to be integrated within the grill... Then again, I have an 'R'

I agree on the clean grille,I never looked close enough to an R to realize it was...a different grille?

That wouldn't sound very cost effect to me,but maybe the mounting point for the emblem is the same for both the S and the R...so that probably justifies having two grilles.
