TUV ISO certification in this scenario simply means the manufacturer scrupulously follows their own manufacturing policies and procedures. If their standards be low, so be it. If the manufacturer does not certify to any established road safety standard (DOT, NHSA, etc.) you don't know what you have. That said, if it means saving 100 lbs in weight, I'd throw all caution to the wind. (Airbags get tossed on first malfunction).

More info for you
Hello Branden,
We routinely receive questions regarding safety which is very understandable. The majority of our seats have been TÜV tested and undergo rigorous in-house testing, inspection, and quality checks.
Most people ask us if our reclining seats are FIA/SFI certified, and we'd like to clarify that to the best of our knowledge, there are no aftermarket reclinable seats with FIA/SFI certificati ons available from any brand. Only fixed-back seats come with those certifications. For track purposes, I would consider looking into getting fixed back seats for maximum safety as we do not recommend reclinable seats from any brand for racing/track use. We do have our Falcon Series FIA seats available on our site: http://www.braumracing.c om/product/falcon-fia-approved -fixed-back-racing-seat-cloth/ and we are currently in the process of obtaining FIA certification for a few more of our fixed-back seat models.

The wrap looks really sharp. the colorshift in that light really accentuates the curves of the car.
You essentially fab up a airbag defeat for the seats, so that you don't get the warning lights. it would not affect your other airbags from functioning correctly.
I don't see their Falcon seat that they say is FIA approved on either the 8855-1999 or 8862-2009 homologated lists. The FIA does list seats that were at one time approved, but no longer are ... or no longer in production. They might have applied, but it looks like it was never approved?
If i was swapping seats, I would look to the Recaro Sporster or Cobra Misano. Yes, they are massively more expensive, but it's a safety item ... that's not really something to cheap out on. I'd rather not have to worry about the seat completely failing in an accident.
