She runs hot
I've only had the R for a few weeks now, but wondering if others have noticed that the hood (engine) really heats up and stays that way for a considerable amount of time after driving.
I park it in our garage and like to keep it under a cover (keeps dust off and serves as an effective barrier to small scuffs, from the kids), but have wanted to let it cool down (prob wouldn't matter anyway) before doing so, but man...it remains very warm to the touch for a long time (never noticed this from any of my other cars).
I have never noticed any engine temperature issues inside (although have never really monitored), so I figure this may be the simple result of 550 ponies via the supercharger, but thought I would at least ask this group their experience.
Anyone else notice this with their R (figure the 6cyl may be diff)?

My F makes a wonderful, albeit expensive 'man cave' heater ;-)
Although Aluminium (Aloominum) is a wonderful heat 'sink', the engine block and SC as well as the Bonnet (Hood) will hold onto it for hours.
Even the interior heats up nicely after a spirited drive without any Climate control!
