Well, although I have not been in over 10 years, that video erased any notion of bringing my Jaguar to Burning Man. LOL

So now I have a pair of chopsticks in the glovebox.
Been there. Done that.

I don't mind getting the car dirty at all. Hell, I've put almost 30k on a two year old car. But I am the guy that will pull off to detail it at a travel plaza on the NY thruway. Ask my wife.

So it's possibly true you were cleaning your car in the wild blueberry field in Maine, in the fog and occasional drizzle and I wasn't delusional ( I still may have been delusional).

I had my growler puddle lights installed for all of a week before my spousal unit noticed them and ridiculed me relentlessly for their absurdity, and I took them off. She’s the only person whose aesthetic opinion has any impact on me. If you pm me with your address I’ll mail them to you.

That is very nice of you. But since showing my own wife the picture, I suspect I would be setting up to get the same treatment you did.
Thanks all the same.

Oddly enough, I'm having an aesthetics struggle with a car mod right now. I am looking at blacking out my badges and have even considered blacking the faces and making the raised edges red (to match my interior and brake calipers). She said both look cheap. I'm torn, as I have the black pack on my car and the chrome badges look a little out of place to me, but she has a spooky habit of being right...
