Seriously??
I don't have any pictures from previous costume builds (once I get into them, I don't stop for that), but I'm more than happy to share a few of finished products for anyone interested. I don't have any pictures of the entire 300 Spartan group, just the Greeks and the two of us baddies after the parade (plus one of me looking like I'm ready to kill during the parade), we did a burlesque/kilted superhero villain group (I'll try to get a picture of everyone this year since we are doing it again), a small portion of us did Battlestar Gallactica (if I can lose more weight by September, I'm going to go as Six this year instead of a pilot), and there was a small part of the group that did Outlander. I'll eventually get back to my French ballgown costume for that one. Honestly, the most difficult of those was my costume for the 300 group because I couldn't find anything remotely similar to use as a base so I kind of made it up as I went along and it was my first time working with pleather. This year my Hippolyta will be the most difficult I think because I've never worked with foam and made armor, but I hope it turns out well enough to be recognizable. Oh, and I just ordered some of the fabric to make an 18th century dandy costume for the night we'll be at the aquarium - not sure how well two of us are going to pull off being men, but we'll see.
Looks like you having a blast.

You can always visit! Actually I wouldn't if I didn't still live here and I can't wait until we retire and move away. I sometimes like being one of the few natives around here, but I'm so tired of most of what goes on these days. If I'm going to live somewhere hot, I'd rather either be close to water (Gulf coast) or somewhere without the humidity (Vegas). Atlanta is VERY different from then. I remember when I was in high school and we'd come into town and get lost or go to Buckhead (which I avoid like the plague now). If you ever want to reminisce and see how things have changed, send me a PM so I don't bore everyone else here. I grew up just south of town in Jonesboro, but have now lived in town since I moved back from my year in exile with relatives in Cairo, GA - that was my punishment for having too much fun at GT and flunking out of school. DragonCon is HUGE (last year I think attendance was over 70k) and we do pretty much take over downtown. My husband even got me a hotel room down here so that I wouldn't come home at 3 in the morning drunk and wake him up. He isn't into any of it, but he encourages me because he knows I enjoy it and it's how I met my best friend.

Chinese Man Pickpockets an iPhone By Using... Chopsticks - Kotaku
Apr 12, 2013 - And if that wasn't enough, the man used chopsticks to pickpocket from a woman riding a bicycle. And she apparently didn't even notice and continued pedaling!
Not necessarily their best track, but if you dig on hip hop beats in a downtempo style, as delivered by a trio from Aix-En-Provence, then it might be right up your alley.

I concur. As I've said before, y'all are (mostly lol) a breath of fresh air compared to some of the fb Jag groups. Having recently gotten a used Volt for a daily, that forum isn't that friendly either...

We are truly the tea & crumpet set of the forum world (or is that tea & strumpets?).

If we can figure out and use the word for a male strumpet, then I think we're good. No misogyny if I get to think of male strumpets while drinking my tea.
