Yes, but as I pointed out I"m not a youngster anymore.

I'm going with the painting partially because I don't trust myself to do that, but mostly because plastidip is pretty matte from what I've seen. If I let them paint it (with their good quality paint), I'll get a nice gloss black that matches all the other glossy pieces (my wheels are more of a satin finish, but that's fine for now since I plan to upgrade to 20" wheels when I need new tires and will look around closer to then and see if I can find some gloss black wheels that I like. .

Besides, all of my plastidip is going on my EVA foam for my armor (it's ok if I screw up EVA foam, it's cheap).

As you likely now the beauty of plasti-dip is that it peels off.

Bruce if you could only hear that little voice in the back of your mind mate.
Your mum's Camry from the 80's has torn seats...
And you are going to spend the weekend changing the color of the emblems on your Jaguar.....

Dont use the whole can, save some for her.

If I recall it was either in my XF forum days or on this forum that someone plasti-dipped their entire car. I know it has been done by many outside the jag community. Was it an orange f type?

While plasti-dip is merely soft rubberized film. There a professional peel-able paint that is superior to traditional paint.

I guess it's a NSW law.
Even if it's an SA law as well or even a national Oz law (which I very much doubt) I am not taking mine off unless or until I am given a legally enforceable order to do so!

Edit - I just found this line on one of the many thousands of sa.gov.au pages: "Spacers are not permitted between the hub and wheel unless originally fitted by the vehicle manufacturer."
I have also found similar lines on NSW and Vic gov pages.

Doesn't matter, I'm still not taking my spacers off unless forced to and I have never heard of this happening to anyone.
Be careful, whether or not they caused the accident your insurance company could refuse a claim in an accident if they find out you had an illegal mod. I know of someone that had a brand new BMW M3 with illegal aftermarket wheels with a different offset and crashed it and wrote it off and the insurance company refused payment. He is still paying that car off 5 years later.

Default Simple, minor mods

Painted her toenails and side badge letters red and opened the exhaust gates via vacuum line plugs.
Would still like a bit more exhaust noise, but I haven't opened the throttle yet since I only have 700 miles on the odometer.

This is as fun and small as it gets. It adds a real nice touch.

I don't have any pictures of the entire 300 Spartan group, just the Greeks and the two of us baddies after the parade (plus one of me looking like I'm ready to kill during the parade), we did a burlesque/kilted superhero villain group (I'll try to get a picture of everyone this year since we are doing it again), a small portion of us did Battlestar Gallactica (if I can lose more weight by September, I'm going to go as Six this year instead of a pilot), and there was a small part of the group that did Outlander. I'll eventually get back to my French ballgown costume for that one. Honestly, the most difficult of those was my costume for the 300 group because I couldn't find anything remotely similar to use as a base so I kind of made it up as I went along and it was my first time working with pleather. This year my Hippolyta will be the most difficult I think because I've never worked with foam and made armor, but I hope it turns out well enough to be recognizable. Oh, and I just ordered some of the fabric to make an 18th century dandy costume for the night we'll be at the aquarium - not sure how well two of us are going to pull off being men, but we'll see.
This is so awesome. So to celebrate, here's my wife and I in 2015 as Domino and Deadpool (this was even prior to the 1st movie, so you know I'm a dork), and Wolvie and Wonder Woman. LOL
What's more, it is cool to see our kitchen prior to the renovation to remind me how much I hated it. lol

I used to do some desert art festival crap, and never really do comic-cons or any festivals anymore. Sort of over it, so we use Halloween as an excuse to be goofy and have fun. =)

Wolvie. forgot that. I don't have facebook, and stopped using instagram and twitter, so this is about as social as I get. I like when we get past the car stuff and end up knowing more about who we are as people.

LOVE IT! I'm getting to crunch time now and getting stressed. I'm trying to get everything that needs to be painted (breastplate especially) done by the end of this weekend so it all has a week after sealing before I wear it. The rest is actual sewing which isn't as intimidating to me. I'll share some pictures after Labor Day weekend. Between getting my new bike today (husband went to get it and trailer it home), and the fact that we are losing one of our dogs Saturday morning, it's going to be hard for me to do what all I need to do, but then again, it might help distract me.

I was in Houston for a 3-day weekend of costume building with my best friend and we got a good bit done. I'll attach a picture of my Hippolyta cloak (that will cover the many imperfections of my armor) and the stabbing of the unicorn mask before we cut it's lower jaw off. Once I get the mask prepared, I'll also post a picture of it finished. We got the idea from the Amadeus movie from the 80s.

Hippolyta cloak done! It's linen too so it will breathe.

We got a bit stabby.

That's what I need for the little old lady who pulls out in front of me doing 30 mph on a 45 mph road and refuses to move to the right. Are those mods available on eBay?

I just had the dealer install stainless pedal covers on my MY2018 Vert, and the wind deflector (not sure why it is not standard on a Vert). Both are outstanding, and can’t get enough of the pedal covers in particular.
