Small Parking lot hit, HUGE damage - Warning

Went to starbucks this weekend, came out to find someone had backed into the car. The only thing noticeable was a rip in the clear bra (which I just got put on Wed). Which sucked, but no damage, so I thought nothing of it.
As I was going to the clear bra guy today, I thought to look under the hood, since I had a CEL (have had one for a week due to the tune/pulley upgrade, so we're trying to figure that one out), those pulley guys wrote me this weekend to check the intake tubing to see if there was a leak.
WELL, I go and see the belt is not even on the SC anymore!? I look further and the SC shaft is shifted down 15 degrees and actually embedded into the SC case.
Basically, what happened, is the hit shifted the intake tubing back 1/2 inch or so, putting pressure on the pulley (downwards), which ate a hole in the intake, but more importantly bent the shaft.
Took it to the Jag dealership, and they said "the bumper comes in, all the intake tubing is down in there, everything shifts back, the bumper comes back as designed, but the tubing stays rearward.".
So moral, if you suspect a front end hit, PLEASE check the intake tubing to make sure it did not shift rearward. I suspect they have to now pull the SC off, replace the shaft, hope the SC is not damaged, and see if I can get the A/M pulley put back on...
Ugh, went from a $700 re-clear bra with no insurance claim, to a huge insurance claim, and of course the Ahole didn't leave a note...

Really sorry to hear that man, particularly after your previous saga.
Hope they can fully repair the damage. If it was at a strip mall you might be able to check if stores have security cameras and get the footage to pull the license plate, but in any case this should not hit your insurance premiums right.

Parking lot damage is bad enough.. guilty party not leaving you a note is really low. I like the suggestion to check the outside security camera's.
With any other of my cars I tend to park just about anywhere, but with the Jaguar I'm always trying to park away from everyone else for this very reason, sometimes though its unavoidable.
I've had scratches and dents on my prior Jaguars from parking lots so I'm trying extra hard not to let it happen to this one.

Sorry to hear. The F-Type is not alone in this regards. Modern cars are well made, but the tolerances are much lower so a minor fender bender can cause major damage. I remember a post on the 991 forum about a seemingly innocuous rear end bump that ended up causing frame damage! From the photo it looked like it'd just "buff right off" but the body shop actually found structural damage. So these days I'm one of those **** guys who parks ridiculously far away from everybody :-(

No updates yet. It's funny we park all our cars as far away as we can for just this reason. Because of that, we were JUST out of view of the camera that was closest to where we were parked, checked all the tapes...
Was supposed to get an estimate today, but good too know there is a SC on ebay for 1200, but no matter, it's gonna be more than my $1k deductible...

After hearing stories like this, makes me want to never drive my car out with the uncaring public. Sounds like insurance will take care of the damage, but the downtime and having to pay the deductible is never cool. Since the body is aluminium, do you have to take it to a body shop that is Jag certified for aluminum work?
