remember rreading about removing snow filters what are they and where are they ??

We would like to help you but this is getting a bit silly: what is a "snow filter"? It would be wonderful if the F-Types had one because I am pretty sure that a good percentage of the people on this forum would like to filter snow out of their lives..

f types don’t have snow filters so you don’t need to worry.
tends to be cars from the Volkswagen family of brands as far as I know.
For those that don’t know it is a extra grill type plate within the air filter box. It is suppose to disrupt the airflow so snow particles will hit it and not pass through further. A lot of people remove them esp if not in a snowing location as obviously a extra restriction to clean airflow

Learned something new. I guess they are called a snow screen / guard. I was thinking this thread was a trolling hoax.

It's purely recreational, and seasonal. You'll need to find somewhere that has some and travel there for the enjoyment.
