Default So what's the easiest way to hang a jacket in this car?

First, I have to move the seat forward (quite a bit), then unfasten the seat belt loop, then maneuver around the seat belt. Then to drive, I have to undo all of that. Then to get the coat, repeat. Ridiculous!

Am I doing something wrong??

Yes, two things:

1) Hanging your coat is apparently very important to you.

2) You purchased a 2-seat sports car.

On the passenger side, I use the #3 memory button for the full forward and upright position. I just hold the belt forward and out of the way to hang my dry cleaning on the hook without unsnapping the retaining loop. I then use the #1 memory button to put the seat back into position. Since that's the seat position for my far superior half, the seat goes back just enough to hold the garments in place without wrinkling them. (On my side of the car, they'd get squashed.) Simple and quick.

What's wrong with using the shoulder height cubby between the two seats?

Pain to open while car in motion. But then not very wise to do that anyways.

Now that's a great idea! Well worth my annual subscription fee right there.

You must have a vert. The cubby in the coupe is just an open carpet lined tray with a rubber bottom.

I find if I store my smoking jacket behind the drivers seat and move it all the way rearwards, it will press the said item quite nicely. Plus 4's are behind the passenger seat.

I'm struggling to get my Cravat pressed in the same way...maybe I'll try behind the sun-visors.

For my slippers, they simply go into the centre cubby box. ;-)

Or - and I realise this is a totally "off the wall" suggestion - your face?

Shirt pocket also works well, provided your phone isn't there already. But wait: that's what the cubby with the sub port is for...

1. Open window.
2. Hang jacket out of window.
3. Close window.
4. Drive.

HTH...

Maybe this is politically incorrect, but I can honestly say the F-Type is the only car I have ever owned that has been properly "christened" (in the urban dictionary sense)... Where the heck do you find room for that? (in a coupe!)

30 or 40 years ago I would have tried. Not now!

I believe since its a British car, the term is ********.

But that's beside the point...all I want to do is hang a coat and now we're onto christening or ******** or whatever? I guess the removing clothing thing lol.

Well, why else would you be removing the jacket? Pants come next right?
