Software Enhancements letter received

I just received mine, although I believe my dealer took care of this at my annual service last month. JLR must have staggered the mail outs according to some system. Not sure what it is or if it's even relevant at this point.

I received this response when asking JLR Customercare if 2015 F-Type R was included in the 'Enhancement Program':
"Thank you for contacting the Jaguar Customer Relationship Center. I appreciate your inquiry. The Jaguar Enhancement Program included model years 2016 and 2017. We regret any inconvenience this may cause you."

Sorry to resurrect this, but did anyone have the battery-dying-after-ODB-read issue on their 2016 R and have these updates resolve it? My dealer says there’s no updates available. I even contacted corporate, they contacted my dealer advisor to go over the Enhancement program letter. But there’s still nothing.

Here’s the letter, which I harvested off here somewhere...

My last emissions test flattened my battery. Surely this in itself is enough for JLR to respond... Have others had the same experience, or do you request the emissions tester disconnect/re-connect the battery after the OBD is used ?
Thx,
A

The short answer is, as others above noted, no.
I recently had my 2016 serviced and the Dealer returned it with the discharge issue actively draining my battery.
Not only did they adamantly deny that there was such a problem but they tried to blame any battery issue on the unfortunate car washer who they (falsely) accused of leaving the car on. Even when I insisted that they try and reset the battery, as the car was refusing to go into sleep mode after almost 40 minutes of watchful waiting, they continued against the evidence of their own eyes to insist that it wasn’t a problem. Eventually I gave up and took the car home. As expected, the drain continued overnight until I did the reset on my own. I asked the dealer about the software update but they claimed to have no knowledge that it would solve the battery problem which they insist doesn’t exist.
Although it seems relatively minor, this entire incident has poisoned my feelings about Jaguar and is emblematic of everything that people have complained about the brand for decades.
Thanks for listening!
