Default Somebody slap me.

So this is a stupid idea, but I was reading about the new 2019 F-Pace SVR and I am in love; a 4-door Jag Sport SUV with a V8 doing 0-60 in 4.0 secs. or less. I keep searching/building F-Pace S versions online in Lorie Blue or Corris Grey with the Black Pack and I can't stop looking at it...beautiful, fast, yet very functional.

Now all of a sudden I have visions of selling both my ridiculously over-modded off-road capable Tundra along my collector edition (lol...in my mind) F-Type V8S for one of these puppies when then come out.

Anyone else entertaining such barmy thoughts?

And don't tell my wife either.

OK, I'll slap you!
Unless you have rugrats that need delivering to various places don't do it, there is no other rational reason to chop in a classic F-Type for an SUV, not even a Jag SUV.

I can't believe the handling will be anywhere near the same, but give it a test drive if you can find one. Oh, forgot to slap you.

How about going half way and taking on a new Jaguar 2+2 XK replacement?

With the return of the XK, it would be great to see the next gen F-Type move to more pure sports car vs GT, then have the XK fill that GT role in the line up.

Saw this a while back and like the concept, the new XF Sportbrake is another option, due to land soon....

If you want an SUV, get an SUV. It's your car and life's short.

Refresh my memory: you’re a photographer?

If so, instruct your models to slap you silly...

It could be cathartic...

OMG, never knew getting slapped would make me laugh so hard...lol.

Thanks everyone for slapping me back to my senses! Although, I have to admit that Sportbrake looks more amazing!

Call it what you want. Looks like a station wagon to me (albeit a good looking one).

Yep, it's a wagon. It's just that the Poms have a penchant for naming them in a funny way, such as "estate" or "shooting brake" (which is where sport brake comes from).
