I have read in the forum about all the issues with the quality of the sound system and I am also disappointed with my system in my 2016 ftype r. My wife just got an SQ5 and when I stream music from my phone is sounds way better in her unit than mine. Has anyone found a fix for this? Thanks again, G

 

Yes. The fix is to get yourself to a good stereo shop and replace pretty much all of the audio components (except the head unit).

I need to post an update with the latest pics. It's finished now and sounds incredible. I mean incredible. I'm used to high end aftermarket systems and even I'm hearing parts of songs that I never knew existed before.
