Default Spinners, Anyone?

No, not those spinners! THESE spinners:

Any suggestions on how to mount something similar on the F-Type center cap hub? Has anyone even seen a F-Type with spinners? It might look terrible, for all I know...

Found this on the net. Might be true.

FMVSS (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) outlawed any wheels or wheel covers with "winged projections" for 1968; that particular regulation was included in the FMVSS revisions due to Ralph Nader's efforts.

Someone, maybe you, posted this once before I was surprised how much I liked the look.

But the knock ons will only look right with wires, they will just look stupid on anything else.
