You should consider a color choice that will look good on dark colored vehicles. My F Type R is BRG and does not have the blacked out trim option, so a silver colored Leaper would be a good match. It would also look good on a Carpathian Gray, Firenze Red or Bluefire Blue for example.

You might want to consider adding a red colored option... so as to no-so-subtly answer the inevitable question "What was THAT?" ;o)

My F-type is Ebony Black, so a darker charcoal grey would be my preference as well to maintain a refined subtlety . The Lt. Grey will look almost white against a black paint.

Probably in the minority here but have always thought the EOM (2015 R) rear spoiler is the ONLY ugly piece on my car. When I go over 70 I always cringe. Don't want to draw even more attention to it.

Then why don't you disable it like I have done?

Or replace it with the more elegant fixed rear spoiler?

I do not think/know that you are in the minority here. I tried and wanted to like it, but just could not. It's all good though... everyone can have their own opinions and tastes. Some appear to like it, others try to dress it up so they CAN like it-ish, some just live with it, and others (like me) just replace it with other options. I chose the Factory OEM option Sport Design Spoiler and really like it (Some hate this one too).

To each his/her own...But I agree, it really takes away from an otherwise very well designed car.

When I first got it...

Generally agree, it is a pretty dopy looking thing when deployed. It's just so narrow! I understand in a way how the convertible spoiler is incompatible with the trunk design on the coupe, but they really should have given it some more thought. Definitely thought of the decal as some way to make it less of an eyesore haha, but indeed it may just draw unneeded attention!

Is nobody here, who has done it on the convertible?

I dunno... I agree that a fully-deployed spoiler detracts from the overall static appearance of an F-Type.

However, showing it deployed at speed is like tossing out a suggestion that there's something more here, plus a challenge. Sort of like lifting a skirt hem to show an ankle, but with a demur "You can't handle the truth!" smile and wink.

The measures of the spoiler from the convertible are 126 cm x 6 cm on the widest.

I´ll try to create a sticker and let it print from my graphic-guy.

I have a semi gloss RKK on mine( white car, black flag) . I thought it was gloss when I got it...a little more shine than you would think of semi gloss. Remember the black is what stays and is rhe sticker, the white is rhe car color. In this case in the pic the.silver is rhe factory car color.not the sticker

Not sure what yall will think about this, but also not sure if it will work..

However after watching this thread basically since it started, I was wondering if somebody a little more talented could come up with a design concept for a piece I had an idea of.

The biggest problem with adding a decal to these stock spoilers is the angle the spoiler deploys in to. So what if somebody could build a contraption using sheet metal bearings and a couple of tools to implement a drop-down panel to display the decal at a more optimal angle, where it could actually possibly be seen by slightly more elevated cars. Not sure if this can be done as I haven't measured the amount of empty space between the spoiler and the body, but wouldn't it be an interesting project anybody could do to their cat on their own? A piece that can deploy and retract as the spoiler does on its own...
