Default Spoiler difference?

Was playing a mild game of tag almost within the speed limit with a white f type coupe on the freeway this morning and I noticed the spoiler on my convertible was up but their on the coupe wasn't.

If there a difference in the speed at which they raise between the two cars?

Mine raises at 96 kph I believe.

If I remember right the spoiler raises at 62mph on the convertible and retracts at 42mph.

So 70mph is about 112 kph and
62 mph is just under 100kph

So yes it seems about 12-14 kph, roughly 10 mph difference between the two.

The coupe roof obviously provides some negative lift, allowing the designers to program a higher speed activation of the spoiler. How much of a fuel economy improvement is there with the coupe vs the vert?

117 kmph on mine, AnD3rew. Have "checked it" several times when it was safe to do so!

Well since mine goes up at 96kph, I have checked it legally on many ocassions, whether it then passed that point on a few ocassions I won't comment on.

That is correct for the convertible--up exactly at 60mph and down at 40mph.
