Squeaky exhaust? or other?

I just gotten a used 2014 Convertible V6 S. I'm experiencing some squeaking noise, I suspect it might be the valves for the active exhaust, but I'm not sure.
It's at such a level that I can hear it from inside the car. The noise comes from the backend below the car.
It makes noise at certain operations. For example when moving the gearbox between drive and park (Not parking brake, just park). Also when moving between drive and reverse. At the same time as the exhaust sound changes level.
It also squeks when I shut off the engine. Like as if the valves close then.
I also feel that there sometimes is a rattling noice coming from the exhaust.
Maybe something wrong with one of the valves, that make it rattle.
Have anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have any ideas?
The car is still on warranty, so I will contact the workshop, but I thoght I would check with all of you first.

Apparently it is common, there is a service note on it. Unfortunately the fix didn't fix my car so I'm getting a new exhaust system (warranty). It's on order. But yes it is the shaft on the rear active exhaust system, whatever they used for a bearing doesn't apparently like the heat (my guess). I'll bet the coupe guys don't notice that their cars sound like somebody goosed a gerbil when those valves open and close. It is embarrassingly pronounced from outside the car and you really notice it in parking lots (or car events).
I was just going to post on it when I saw your thread. I'll bet it is happening a lot of the cars.

I expect not. It takes a year or so for it to show up which means it is doubtful it was found before the 2016s were finalized. So I'd listen for it around 2017 or 2018. We'll see if the new exhaust fixes it or just delays it recurring. If it fixes it than cars being manufactured now likely have the exhaust with the fix in it. Unfortunately I won't know the answer to that question until 2017 or 2018 either and by then the car will be out of warranty. I'll ask.

Adding my two cents. I have a 2015 R Coupe. A around 18K miles, I started hearing this loud squeaking coming from the back of the car on accel and on decel at low speeds (12-20mph). It also does it as you rev up when parked. Dealer has car now, with "parts on order". They knew about squeaky exhaust and had repaired one other F-type with this issue. Not sure if it is just the control valve(s) or if they will replace entire system. I'll post update when I get the car back in a week.

Hey Folks, just signed, up been checking the forum periodically since april.
Have an active exhaust issue to report/share, issue started at approx 4500 miles.
2017 F-Type S Coupe manual transmission, active exhaust broken, intermittently cuts in and out in exhaust mode, " exhaust button depressed". Thinking exhaust vacuum valve from active exhaust broken, as i often hear a metallic clunking in exhaust at low rpm's, especially when dropping rpm from 2000 down, where usually i used to get the exhaust burbles. in "Race Mode" though no problems, except it eats gas like a thirsty Arab drinks water.. lol! this is when valves are are straight open as. So I am presuming something wrong with the baffles that open close, being dislodged or broken, hence the metallic crushing tin can sound.. booked appointment at dealer, 2 weeks to go till they have a appointment. between us it has been my experience that most of the dealers i have been to, Jag and for my other cars, Benz, BMW are incompetent, and always mess something up. so I prefer to keep away from them like a kid with rotten teeth keeps away from the dentist lol!
Any one else have the same issue with the active exhaust NOT working correctly when "Exhaust button depressed"? ?

I resume this thread because I also have a metallic sound at low revs.
Especially when I am stationary, with the car in neutral and I accelerate slowly as in this video. The car is MY19, has 25000 km and 3 years of life, therefore no longer under warranty. Can i do something to fix the problem myself?

thanks
