Default Stealth Mode?

Hi Gang,
I'm sure this is found somewhere in the forum, but I am still looking with no luck. I just found the 2nd page on the info center that has the "Stealth Mode" On-Off button. If I turn this off does it mean I get stopped by all the local Smokeys when I accidentally blip past 95 mph on the local interstate? Can't find "Stealth" anywhere in the owner's manual.

All it does is shut off the touch screen display.

On the V6S model it activates the optional cloaking device. I accidentally turned it on a while back and couldn't find my car for days.

That is why I did not want to activate the switch. Even in my garage, I might lose it and not be able to find it to reactivate it again. Hate to have to call the dealer for assistance.....
Try explaining that one to the wife who is still complaining about the cost of the Jaguar.

To quote Captain Kirk in the Voyage Home after enabling the cloaking device when their ship landed on Earth - "remember where we parked"

It also dims or turns off some of the interior lights - basically makes it darker inside at night. Or least, that's what I've been told. Tried it once 4 years ago, don't remember what it does.

It shuts off any unnecessary lights, and dims the remaining lights.

Think of it as a way to protect your night vision while driving at night in the country.

I hope my dealer ruled this out before they started work replacing the CJB and the BCM in my car to get the LED lighting working on the door handles and the passenger panic handle.... :-)

Worth mentioning it to them. Don't know if it stays in that mode after the ignition is cycled.
