I purchased a 2015 R that has been tuned but I don't know by who or how.
I have HPTuners MPVI2 and have read the ECU and would like a stock tune file to compare with.
There are no tunes on the Tune Repository at HPTuners so I was hoping someone here might have one to post.

Contact Velocity AP to see if they tuned it. If so, they would be able to provide you with the OEM tune for that specific vehicle.

 

Alternatively you can ask your purchasing dealer to contact the previous owner(s) of the vehicle, if they don't know, you can contact the ones on carfax. That's how my friend found out how his cammed straight piped c7 was tuned and used for. It was used as a dragster, that explained why the car came with drag ridials ;p

 

Engine tune is a defect that should have been disclosed to you at the time of sale. Unless you purchased the car as-is, I recommend asking for compensation, as any tuning tanks the resale value and is permanently flagged in your car's controllers.

 

Did you ever find your stock tune? I have one. 16 R, which I assume is the same. message me if you still need it. I'd love to see yours to compare.

 

I have a 15 R with a tune also. I asked Velocity AP if they could give me information after I supplied them with my VIN, but they replied they can’t (or won’t) reveal what previous owners did with the car).

Can you send me the 16 R stock tune so I can compare with mine?
