Default Storm Grey F-Type S Coupe Finally Arrived!

Hey Guys!

I've been lurking around here for a while and only occasionally chiming in, as up until today I haven't quite felt like "part of the club." I ordered my F-Type V6S Coupe back in October from the Richmond (VA) Jaguar dealership and lets just say it's taken quite a while to get her here. My partners at work told me I'd get end up getting my car the day before a blizzard - and I'll be damned if they weren't right.

I traded in an older lexus SC430 and went a little "option happy" on the V6S. Despite that, overall I think I got a pretty good deal at 5.5% below MSRP.

I'm having the car completely wrapped with XPEL Ultimate after perusing the general advice of several forum members. I've settled on Joe Deroche from Capital Autobahnd to do the work - and I'll post back with some more pictures after its done. I also went ahead and got a sto-n-sho to handle the front plate. You guys are even helpful when you dont realize it!

I feel like a kid, which is odd b/c I'm not sure I remember ever being one. It's ridiculous! I can't wait to do stupid things with this cat.

You poor *******. Getting a F today with a blizzard tomorrow is like Santa bringing you a toy and forgetting the batteries for it.

Welcome to the club. If you're like me you look for reasons to drive it.

Welcome. Agree on the color. Ask your dealer to make some room so you can drive it around the service bays until the snow is gone.

About a week before I got it, i had a moment of panic --- "did I pick the right wheels?" "is it too monochrome?" "Should I have gone with something else?"

Then I exhaled.

Super: 20" black tornadoes, Black pack S (int and ext), super performance brake pack (had to have red calipers), Premium + vision pack, extended leather pack (did not want a fabric headliner). So basically everything except the ceramic brakes & the design pack.

If the design pack had black side skirts, skipping that would have been a harder call.

Excellent choice Uziel that's a stunning car, post some pics again if you have time when the blizzard has gone, regards Stuart.

Congrats!

I'm partial to Storm Grey. Wait until you get it out in the sun. The color combo will really pop.

Agreed. I Originally wanted silver tornadoes but the black look is definitely more menacing and helps hide the brake dust.

Congrats and welcome!

Very nice!! Mine is Ammonite Grey, a bit lighter than the Storm. I was torn between the two; both are awesome.
