Default Strange Engine vibration/sound

I took my 16 R in today to get the OBD2 battery drain issue checked out. All they did was scan the car and charge it up as far as I know. When I went to leave I noticed there was a really deep bass sound coming from near the engine and it seems to not run as smoothly. I immediately turned around thinking they may have messed with the exhaust. They said they hadn't even lifted the car and nothing sounded wrong so they sent me on my way (they probably thought I was crazy). Then when I was cruising on the highway in eighth gear around 1800rpm, the sound became really noticeable. The exhaust out of the back sounds quieter too and there's not as much of a difference between valves open and valves closed. Also, if I give it some gas and let the rpm's drop, then the bass sound becomes more noticeable and there's kind a pitter patter sound almost as if there's an exhaust leak. Does anyone have any idea what this could be or how they could have screwed it up? Taking it back in tomorrow.
