Default Strange noise - video

Hi,

My car have a strange noise. It’s coming from the front left wheel. If I drive the car straight line, no noise, just when the wheel is turning. When the car is cold, also no noise.

Here is the video:

Any idea? (I have a service appointment for May 16, but I’m worrying to things getting worse. I also showed the video in the service, but they have no clue.)

Are you certain the lug nuts are tight?

I wouldn't be driving it before the service appt. (Except to get there)

Being stubborn I would remove the front wheel and turn the rotor by hand left/right to see if the sound was there w/o the tire/wheel.

Something stuck in the rotor edge maybe?

Had the same thing happen to me. It was a brake duct that came loose and interfered with the rotation of the wheel only when the steering wheels was turned.

I had once a noise (not in a Jaguar) that was caused by a little stone that felt in between the brake rotor and the interior cover. No explanation why it was louder when turning.

Took it out with a stick. No noise anymore
