Helped my sister winterize her boat this weekend. In the process we discover the trailer needs two new tires as the tread is coming apart on them.
As my F-Type is not scheduled for delivery until December, the best I can do is live vicariously through this website and occasionally wear my "F-Type" baseball hat.
I walk into the tire shop, forgetting I have my hat on (my sis, God love her, has no idea what the F-Type is and I've said nothing). The guy behind the counter jaws drop and says "do you really have one of those?"
Sis "What was he asking you about?" Oh I just wanted to make sure we had the right tire size.

I'm driving home from my morning golf game. Weather in SF is amazing. I have the windows rolled down. In traffic I see two motorcycle cops. Thought they might want to see my registration since I still haven't put on plates. I turn off active exhaust so not to be loud. They roll by. 1st cop, "badass ride man" 2nd cop, "sweet ride" ![Smile](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Any tips on stores would be much appreciated. The second hand market pricing is absurd.
I've found it near impossible to purchase any 2014 since moving here. Funnily enough I used to get an allocation from a local store when living in London, but near impossible over here in SF. The same for William Larue Weller, a stunning bourbon and other Buffalo Trace limited brands.
I'm stuck drinking Glenfarclas 1979 Family cask. Tough life.

I had a funny experience this morning. I was driving to a doctor’s appointment in my F-Type and picked up an obvious tail with two guys in an older Lexus coupe. They followed me into the doctor’s parking lot and pulled up right behind my car. I was not sure if they were admirers or if I was going to get rolled. The driver put his window down and said “Man that is the most beautiful car I have ever seen, what is it?” I told him and his buddy starting laughing hysterically saying “I told you, I told you”. He looked at me and pointed to the driver saying, “He just lost 5 bucks”. The driver reached into his pocket, got out the money and just kept saying, “Man that car is beautiful”. The other guy took the $5 and tried to give it to me for having such a nice car and making their day. They turned out to be pretty cool guys and I gave them a tour of the car. They were so enthralled they stayed in the parking lot and just kept admiring it. And yes, it was still there when I was finished with my appointment.
The F-Type has magical powers, it seriously brightened the day of two guys who don’t even own one. I can only imagine their reaction if they got to drive it.
