Default Strange Sounds Coming From Passenger Seat?

On the way in this morning - beautiful sunny skies - Dynamic Mode on, of course, and triple-digit speeds (speed limit is per person, right?) and Foo Fighters (Wasting Light) playing at high (25+) volumes and my passenger, my beautiful wife, was trying to tell me something, I think, but I couldn't really hear her (I did hear something: just couldn't tell what it was)...so I continued on my blissful way. Strange, huh?

Anyone else experience this?

You need to teach your wife in the use of semaphores. (See: Monty Python's Wuthering Heights...)

Respectfully, one does not [attempt to] teach ones' wife anything. One does, however, appreciate ones' wife's tolerance towards her husband. But I like your style, and your posts, DJS. And your car.

I usually just go faster until the only things she is saying is "%@&! SLOW DOWN!" or is too scared and just hanging on. Then all is right

Only as a Jew and in regards to the Holocaust. I know...not exactly the humorous response you were expecting. Sorry....first thing which came to mind.

Now you're talking. LOVE Edgar Allen Poe and saw a spectacular exhibition at the Morgan Library in NYC last year. Fascinating and illuminating.

And while this is clearly veering off topic and the OP, since I am the idiot who started this stupid post/thread in the first place...I've high-jacked my own.

Here in the Baltimore area, that would have been quite appropriate, quoting the Raven. I drive within a few feet of Edgar's grave every weekday.

Default Addendum...

Nice shot Lance, thank you for that (I was hoping you'd take a picture for me).

By the way, hit a nice open stretch of road yesterday on the drive home last night and reached...well...maybe it's best I don't say what I reached - with wife and dog as passengers - and no sounds of any kind were heard from the passenger seat.

Fine. I'll give you half credit then, OK?

I still thank you for it.
