Default supercharger coolant pump upgrade wiring

I ordered the upgrade Bosch supercharger coolant pump but am confused when going to wire it in. All the guides state wire into the existing 2 wire plug. On my 2017 I have 3 pins and much smaller gauge wire. Does anyone know which wires to connect to +- or where they lead back to so that I can run bigger gauge wires to the pump? I can test out once put back together, but search turned up nothing and figure somebody knew why 3 wires and what they do.

Green/white, Brown, Black/purple

This workshop manual has schematics at the end, which include wiring color codes.

The 3 wires will be live/neutral/and pulse width modulation

Looks like the 3 lines are power (violet/orange, via 10A fuse), GND (black/violet), and a control line (brown) from the ECU.

Hmm, guess there was a change from violet orange to green white I hope. With engine running I wasn't able to measure any voltage across green/white and black violet. Which I think should be positive and neutral.
They should be always on correct, or does the ECU need to sense something to send power?

The pump isn't running all the time
that's what the Pwm wire from the ECU is for
There is a debate about leaving the Pwm wire not connected as this will run the pump continuously when ignition is on
The won't be a cel but there will be a fault code registered
I have a pierburg 150 I haven't fitted yet and apparently this pulls more voltage and will result in a cel if the Pwm wire is connected

So what is the current recommended wiring from 3 wires to 2?

Just leave the Pwm wire not connected
I plan to run a simple kill switch for the pump for when working on the car

FWIW - I was checking on options to upgrade my SC pump and Chris at VAP told me their tunes run the pump full time. I noticed my pump running all the time in my datalogs with my Stage 2 setup and thought something might be wrong, but turns out it is a feature in the VAP tune. My only hesitation now is the size of the wiring and potential current draw with some of the upgraded pumps.

Yes I can confirm the vap tune runs the pump continuously as just tested with my cwa150 install

Have a VAP tune about to put on so will leave the brown wire disconnected. @Gasman2 what is the thinking behind the kill switch? (electrical scenarios with key on engine off?)
I am a bit worried on the wire size as well, I might run new wire from the fuse block.
Also I am planning on running the Bosch AMG pump as that is what I read and was suggested to me. Is that correct for these cars or is the CWA 150 above preferred?
Thanks everyone.

You also can get a 3 wire upgraded IC pump if you want?
As posted above Jaguar went from a 2 wire to a 3 wire PWM pump.
