Yes you can and it is basically plug and play. You will need 3 pieces to complete the swap. The wing itself, the articulation mechanical mechanism and the mounting plate. You can sometimes find these used on ebay or other online sellers. There are 3rd party versions out there too, but from what I have experienced with those companies, you get what you pay for.
I have been interested in adding an active SVR wing to my R coupe and have recently sourced a totaled SVR that has been parted out. The entire SVR rear hatch assembly is available to me (with the wing intact), so all the parts mentioned above are included in the rear hatch. My question is - how "plug and play" is this process of conversion? I would imagine that my current active decklid spoiler must be disabled and that the SVR spoiler relies on a new actuator for movement. .... does this entail me removing the current decklid motor and replacing with the SVR actuator and associated linkage? Does the plug that provides voltage to the motor to deploy the rear decklid at speed get used to now signal the SVR wing actuator to activate/deactivate at speed?
I ran across a thread from a guy in the UK that did this (I can no longer find it) and he claims it took about 45 mins to do with some specialized tools.
Am I opening a can of worms for myself or is this process really quite elementary and truly "plug and play" ?
Holy crap, $5k for the spoiler? Is it made of gold? Lol
Reminds me of the XKR-S front lip, it was carbon fibre and had a tendency to crack it it was bumped, replacement cost was about AUD$4K from memory, and the one on the car we were speaking of (in for service) had been replaced twice. But when I was chatting to the Jag guys about it, they were telling me that something similar on a c63 was like double the price.

discontinued now jag raised price of CARBON spoiler alone to 7k. And the actuator is unavailable( which you need from Jag to make ot fit and move
... It's about a 10k job with OEM parts.

Ali is horrible dont buy the Chinese junk and it won't fit the OEM Jaguar actuator .. 2nd the actuator that fits the SVR OEM Jaguar wing that is plug and go that makes the oem wing work is discontinued and impossible to find and NOT STANDARD with your stock actuator. And the last wings in stock from Jaguar they have raised rhe price considerably since this post was originally posted. They want around 7k just for the wing now.

You can get the wing and the bracket and bootlid all from Ali express
all u do is cut original actuator rod and join to new brackets
Job done and Chinese carbon is Preety good
OEM jlr stuff is not magical quality
it's overpriced and not worth a fraction of what they charge
They tried to stiff me 200.00gbp for 2 parking sensors
eBay 40.00 for 2
They are run of the mill parking sensors that jlr think they can bend you over for

what? The SVR oem actuator MOVES the wing..thst isn't possible the gadget way you want to do. Plus Ali isn't pretty good( IMO its junk).just wait a few years. Just get the OEM and do it correctly where the wing deployment button will work. Your way you won't have e a working wing and a lot less quality carbon...I won't get into how carbon is made but there is a reason why some only last 1 yr before turning yellow.

Sorry but your wrong
the actuator is simply a motor and a rod
Cut the rod and attach the new brackets and baseplate and the wing
Et voila a fully functional svr rear wing

Good luck! This is why your the only person ever to come up with the yanky scheme with crappy Ali parts. To each his own.
