Hey guys, I'd like to swap out my paddle shifters with something better than the black ones my car came with. I don't want to pay $600 for the aluminum shifters that Jaguar sells as an accessory.
Does anyone know if these ones from ebay will work?
I will happily send you the set I have FREE!- They are absolute sh!te. Had them fitted to my old V8S. The grub screws rely on 'biting in' to the existing paddles to secure. The feel and look is just totally out of place.
If you search Google, there is a chap on your side of the pond I believe, making pukka CF paddles for XF's (all JLR and LR paddles are identical) which are really sweet.
You might want to try: https://streamlinecarbon.com/v2/prod...tensions-pair/
If you do swap them out, I'll buy the stock ones from you... I've been thinking of working with some friends to make a full replacement unit that's larger and taller, but I need a stock set to use for dimensions and such.
The ones in the link provided only install over the factory ones if I am correct. There are a few options around and some members have ones similar to the ones you linked and only used double sided tape to install them as to not chew up the factory paddles with the grub screws. Do a search, there's some info floating around.

Yikes that does look pretty bad. Ideally I don't want to glue anything over the existing paddles. I'd rather get a set of aluminum paddles that look just like the Jag OEM part but much cheaper. $600 is kinda ridiculous for that part. I'm surprised someone hasn't already machined an aftermarket replica but I guess they aren't that many cars to make it worth it.
+1. Also has anyone installed the red evoque one on their F-Type? I think they look cool and the red is sharp especially with my red car, and black/red interior. If anyone has installed and has any pictures I would appreciate it..Thank you
I'm making an alternative. Unsure what the price will be yet if I can cheaply mass produce them. The design is done, we're just working on fitment at the moment and reliable actuation of the shifts. Its a long process.

Hurry up! LOL. The plastic stock paddles are a disgrace.
Did you DIY the install? If you did, how difficult was it?
15 minute job, undo screw. paddle comes away from steering wheel, unclip lead, unclip old plug, clip in new paddle plug, reclip in lead, do up screw. Repeat other side. :-) The only slightly challenging part is aligning the screws when putting back but do one at a time rotating the steering wheel to the easiest position. Fantastic, thanks! Didn't want to pay Elevently billion dollars of labor for it if I found a set.
I'll check out that link. I haven't been very active on this forum until recently.
