I owned 3 Audi TT's over the years, the last a '08 3.2 cabriolet. Liked all of them. That said I would buy a used F Type over a similar priced TT. Different, more fun, modern. I definitly will be looking for the first batch of used '18R's next year, the ones guys buy on a impulse on a Sat. then don't enjoy the ride and getting in and out of, much like many used Porsche's.

I will say that the new TT RS is a great machine - that 2.5L 5 Cylinder sounds amazing, 0-60 in 3.5 w/354lb/ft torque from 1700rpm. The look of the car has matured a lot and the virtual cockpit and fit/finish is spectacular. It ticks all the boxes. That said, when you see/drive the f-type, its like love at first sight!! There is not much emotion in the Audi, opposite for the Jag...
Just a quick update after calling around to a few dealers I believe that 20% of MSRP is definitely achievable on a '17. One even put that out as their opening offer. Will have to push to get to 25% and maybe wait another month (at the risk of being able to find the right car) but am getting more confident its achievable

Just closing the loop here, managed to get a '17 R Fuji white with black/red stitch, vision pack, black pack, at a phenomenal price, very close to what I was hoping for. Great thing is that my local dealer found a car in the port so it hadn't been sitting around on the lot and 4 miles on it!
So I canceled my TT RS order and picked it up last week - so happy and this car is such a joy!! A couple of minor issues/quirks, that I'll post questions separately about, but wow, who cares when it looks and sounds this good!!!
agreed !
got 37K off (if canadian 15% taxes are accounted for) my 2015 'R with less than 4000 miles on the odometer.. Got free clear bra, tints, antitheft system, 2 years extended warranty, etc.
too good to pass on the deal !

Lots of great cars in the 60-70k range fully loaded like new if one is patient. Let someone else take the 40% 'I bought mine new' haircut.

Lol, I bought my wife a Cayenne GTS a couple years ago with 7k miles on it at 40% off MSRP. Weirdly enough, couple weeks later they announced the new ones would be V6TT and their prices rocketed up.
Oh wait, jaguarforums. I got my '14 V8S with 6k miles for 55k. Yay depreciation!!!!
