They have to sell a lot of the "other" F Types to justify the development and tooling costs for this car. Targas, althought I had one are super niche cars.

lol Yea, they have to come up with something as the article stated, Porsche trademarked the Targa name and is registered with the government.

Targa tops are awesome. Best of both worlds. Getting rid of the Vert for an R-coupe is one discouraging thing about changing cars. I'd buy a targa R coupe without thinking twice.

Great concept. It will appeal to lots of folks that want the “top down” but not have the vert issues!

Project 7 would be a good one to go into production but with 2 "headrests"..
