My next challenge is the aircon vent that gets stuck. Any chance on a walkthrough of how and what to disassemble, and if I need to buy the entire center vent for a replacement?

Check here on this forum. You can also use the search feature, as there is a lot of info already available:
Adding Steering Wheel Removal Info document to the list. This document covers information on removing/installing Steering Wheels/Airbag on F-Types.(with diagrams and photos).
Not at true DIY, bit with the requests about updated (Project 7 / Paramount) grilles, there are two threads, and a cloud folder I made with some pics and tips.
On to my next mod. As we all know the dinky sun visor we have is pretty worthless. Here in El Paso, the sun can be brutal so I got a piece of tinted plastic and mounted it on to the visor using two elastic ribbons. The visor works normally as it should but when the sun is below the visor I just pull down on the plastic piece and I get another 4 inches of protection while still be able to see. Works well. One can only see a very tiny tip of the plastic when the visor is up, almost hidden, but the added coverage makes things a lot better.
Here is some very good and complete Charging System / Battery /Electrical System information on my Cloud Drive
It is almost 9 MB, but has lots of procedures for testing the system etc.
My turn to stop by and say "Thank you TheRock88!". As a new owner of a 2016 F-Type S Convertible I was sent over to your DYI guides for helping with my general maintenance. Not only Thank you, but also Congratulations on your new lift! That picture of you in your low-rider chair under your car left me completely jealous! Up there in Illinois years ago, my family had a beer brewery in Chicago called Meister Brau. The brewery helped sponsor my father and Augie Pabst ( from the Pabst brewery ) in racing where they took several national championships driving "The Scarab", on a team they called The Meister Brausers. The Scarab was designed by Lance Reventlow who came to the US after working with Lister to make the almost unbeatable "Lister-JAGUAR". Lance then wanted to redo the car with a Corvette engine which he did, so really it was the best of both racing worlds at the time. I'm sure at this point your saying something like "cool story bro", but if you would like to see some fun photos of some of this I've attached a few for you to this post. Anyway, thanks again for all your efforts! There's nothing like a well running machine!

Hi...
You are welcome, and thanks for sharing the story and pics. Looks like you are in Fla now. I went the other way. Most of my life in New Orleans and Baton Rouge, and moved up to IL 20+ years ago.
Did the spark plugs today. Thank you @Therock88 for the DIY. I would caution anyone looking to do this themselves, to make sure to take your Xanax when doing the drivers side bank 2 and 4. What were those engineers thinking. Passenger side is a breeze.

My pleasure! And agree, some of the parts on these cars must have been designed on "bring your own crack to work day" Glad it worked out.
