So I've had my car now for 2 months and loving it, puts a smile in my face everytime. Definitely one of the most beautiful cars ever produced.
However there are a few things I dislike, feel that could've been executed better and thought I would share.
1. Maybe it's just my seat position but being first in line at a traffic light it is hard to see it. Have to stretch my head towards the windshield or try to look through the glass roof to see when the light changes.
2. Heated seats get too hot even in setting 1
3. Ambient lighting does not change the light on the doors. Why?
4. Seatbelts get too tight when driving agressively and locks up. Not a big deal but feel like I am strapped for a jet/spaceship LOOL
5. A front end lift system would've been nice.
6. Infotainment system
7-100. Infotainment system. No nice way of putting it. It sucks. I think my 2013 Malibu Eco has a faster screen response rate which is unacceptable for a car at this level. Coming from a 2013 C Class the infotainment in the F-Type feels like something from 2005. The least Jaguar could have done is provide an alternate method of interaction; like add a spinning wheel/dial similar to what other automakers have if they could not make the screen more responsive. Also no album art in USB or Bluetooth mode unless you use Spotify/Music app through Jaguar Apps -lame.
These are all I can think of at the moment. All these things are minor and don't really take away from all the greatness of this car.
I actually test drove a 4C when I was cross shopping the F-Type. Would be a nice car to have if it was 20k lol
Well, my point is that most of your dislikes are just normal things you deal with having a car that is more of a sports car (GT) than a sedan. For example, your traffic light visibility dislike, just about every sports car has the same problem.

Hmmm. . Maybe it's just me but I've driven/owned different coupes/sports cars and never recall experiencing that. Not even in the Corvette.

Coupes are a little different. However, I've driven sports cars for many years (too many to post in public) and all of them have issues with the view angle/port being low making traffic signals a problem if they are not on the other side of the intersection. To be fair, I haven't had any inconvenience in the F-Type that doesn't exist in other sports/GT cars. There is a reason no everyone buys sports cars and why sports sedans/coupes have a market.
A lot of people complaining about the infotainment system, but I don't mind it. I use google maps on my phone for navigation and I'd rather listen to the exhaust than the radio.
Only complaint about this car that can be fixed with money is the stock P-Zero tires. They are terrible. I can't justify switching good tires at this time, but waiting patiently until I can switch to Michelins
Since I have my seat pushed back very far in both my Jag and MINI, I too cannot (unaided) see traffic lights when first in line without contorting myself over the steering wheel. This solution works extremely well: https://new.minimania.com/part/G2NMI...ide-Angle-Lens
I’ve driven them all also. I’ve had Ferraris from the mid 1970s, I’ve had modern Aston Martin’s, I’ve had four different 911 Porsches up to 2012gts, I’ve had a couple of different modern Mercedes AMG‘s.... and every single car that I’ve owned has had some kind of short coming.... So far I’m loving this little F type jag S that I’ve owned for about 6-7 weeks and it’s like all the rest... If I sat there and put my thoughts to pen I could find various things that bug me about it.... none of them are enough to make me complain about it though as I pretty much knew what I was getting into buying a two seat Sports car. My wife to buy surprise actually asked me what took me so long to get around to buying one of these cars since I do go through cars pretty frequently, and my answer was I don’t f-n know!!

In large metro areas you'd be surprised how easy it is to sell used tires in good condition. I had no trouble unloading my 70% worn pirelli's - apparently their are still folks that like them...
The only thing I dislike is that the sun visor is worthless. So when the sun is baking the side of my face, I use this. I guess it may look strange with my hat on the side of my face, but hey, it works.
