Thoughts on this 2016 F-Type R?
Hi, all - I'm new to the Jaguar world and am interested at this 2016 F-Type R.
https://www.msmotorspdx.com/details/used-2016-jaguar-f-type/90152584
I'm going to look at it on Saturday but curious what you all think of the price/value, options, etc. Despite having three owners it appears to be dealer serviced its entire life, probably bc it had extented coverage based on being a certified pre owned at one point.
Jaguar sent the build sheet to me (attached). Looks like it's got a few good options based on some quick research.
Since I'm new to the Jaguar community I am curious what experts like you think of the car.
Thank you for any insights!

If I end up liking the blue one, I'll make an offer. The dealer has had the car since May of 2022. Should give me a bit of leverage.
Thank you for your reply!

Almost all Rs were ordered well apportioned. There's nothing in that build sheet that isn't what you'd find on the vast majority of Rs out there. The only items that I would consider rare on an R are:
Carbon Fiber roof. I've seen very few with that option
Carbon Ceramic Brakes
Extended leather.
Everything else is normal. The color of that one is a rare one, and imo, one of the most beautiful colors in person.

I have very similar spec. 2016. Mine came with the same wheels ($2300 factory option), but I had the black back as well. Crazy to think I paid $57k for mine in 2019 with 23k miles on it, but I know the market is crazy right now. Nevertheless, the spec seems good for the price. I would check to see if it still has the original coolant pipe installed versus the updated design and see if you can find any service history on the car, like has the rear diff fluid ever been changed? Did all the service intervals while still under factory warranty were done? Otherwise, drive it and perhaps get a PPI. Worth the $300 it would cost to avoid a $55k mistake.
For $8 you can get the full factory specs from this car here: Print Automotive Window Stickers | MonroneyLabels.com

I also kinda wonder if the ~$50k price is about bottom for these cars with similar mileage/condition?
I will ask about service history. The carfax has some good details on that but I didn't see anything about diff fluid.
I will absolutely get a PPI.
Really appreciate your observations and insights.

Yes, of course.

Skizot referenced it above. I'd never heard of it. The sticker cost me $10.
