Thoughts on redesign?

Now that have owned my 2021 for 30 days, I’ll offer some thoughts on the “overall” redesign. My perspective is based on this being my third F Type. The first experience a 2015 IRR S (loved it) number two, a 2017 R Ammonite Gray (loved it even more) and now a 2021 R BRG (still dating)
- Exterior Design; The front end change, in my opinion is subtle enough that I’m somewhat ambivalent
- However, I’m one of those that likes to have the “latest model” given this affliction, the new look serves purpose
- Power; The extra 25 HP is a rush
- Handling; The redesigned suspension and wider tires on the R absolutely make a difference
- More responsive to tight turns
- Seems to ride smoother
- In Car Technology; This is the game changer!
- Apple CarPlay
- The reconfigurable instrument cluster has useful and numerous options
- Seating; Slightly different, toss-up compared to pre 2021’s
- Exhaust Notes
- Quiet at start-up which I far prefer (lots of threads on “how to disable…”)
- After 600 miles plenty of bark on acceleration either in or out of dynamic
- Not as many “pops and crackles” however, in dynamic on WOT they are definitely there
- My overall exhaust note impression, it’s a bit understated and for me that’s just fine
- Color Combination; BRG with Tan Windsor
- BRG in bright sunlight has a ton of “bowling ball” metallic
- BRG in shade or at night is almost black
- Summary on BRG it’s a two-for-one color
- Interior color, love it especially how it complements the exterior
- Compliments from passerby’s; No shortage of nice people out there that unselfishly let us know, “nice ride…”

I think the new rear license plate space with the tapered sides is a subtle yet fantastic improvement.
On the other hand, it bothers me to no end that they didn't take this opportunity to better conceal the rear-view camera which has always looked like an afterthought. It stands out on all but the darkest paint and now that they are becoming mandatory in many markets there's really no excuse for this. Have they at least upgraded the resolution on the camera? The camera on my 2016 is worse than the one I had on my 2007 Audi.

The question was more along the line of “Where’s Waldo?”. It didn’t actually occur to me that the camera eyes (at least the bezels) weren’t color coded to the car. A black dot on an otherwise white bumper would indeed be a distraction.

"Eye" as in the I in Unhingd on the number plate.
But maybe I was being too obscure and/or too much of a smart ****.
