My new R-Dynamic (6) has the OEM P-Zeros fronts ( 255/35R20).
The car ahs 1350 miles on the new tires.
I am welll aware of all gth negative comments about the P-Zeros, so I am not looking for a discussion about their pros and cons.
My question relates to an intermittent/occasional steering sensation that feels like "chatter" and sometimes makes it feel as though the front end is "floating".
I can not relate it to a specific type of road surface, though that could well be related, and it does not seem to be speed related, though I have not noticed it at speeds below 40mph.
The car's handling is excellent and absolutely the best I have ever experienced compared to my previous BMWs, Audis and XJ . There is no vibration that might be attributed to wheel balance.
I am planning to switch out the P-Zeros for all season Continentals in the Fall, but find it hard to believe the P-Zeros are already at fault with only 1350 miles.
Should I just ignore this sensation or is it a sign of something more serious?
Has anybody else experienced something similar?

 

Slightly bent wheel is first thing that leaps to mind. Perhaps the car got curbed or hit a pothole and the rim got slightly misshapen. Had that happen to mine following my son driving it,

 

It only happens occasionally and I am the only driver, so no potholes or curbings.
