Default Tire Lettering

Anyone use white tire lettering? I really like that look. Was looking into tiregraficx.com. Doesn't seem like the paint pens work.

I think tire lettering is like the new under-glow of the mid 2000s

Really, I think it looks like a muscle car from the 70s. I don't like fads was kinda thinking it was more classic. But..I see your point

Idk, in my opinion it takes your eye away from the rest of the car and instead trying to read the brand (or whatever you choose) of the tire. This seems to fit in okay on a highly modified car or race car because those are usually busy or stickered heavily. But on something relatively stock like this Ferrari, don't they look a little silly?

The F-type is a very classy, beautiful car that doesn't need much help in the looks department. A few of people on here do the kind of mods you'd expect to see on a Nissan 370z like big wings, stickers, bright colored accents, etc., and I think it usually makes the car worse from a looks perspective. Its like marrying a super model and dressing her up like rapper because you think it will make her look better. I'm not saying these are on that level, but I just think they aren't needed and their appeal will fade.

I have a lot of opinions haha

....I have to agree with the others; on my musclecars, yes on my Jag, no.

+1. Exactly what happened when I was racing. Even put the manufacturer's sticker on the side of my car. Jag didn't pay me to advertise make and model on the F-Type, so that lettering all came off at the get-go.

If you have a bolted-on wide-body kit, then tire lettering would be a good look. Otherwise probably not.

i actually have been thinking of giving this a try. they have the lettering that is 'temporary' (you can take it off). would be fun to change it up a bit. curious to see how it would look...pls post if you do this (before i try it)

I actually saw an F-Type wither the lettering the other day and it made it look cheap. I wouldn't do it.

As soon as I got even a dollar for stickering on the bike, everything else went. Racing is a business of advertising. Real estate costs money, especially on racing machinery.

More to the original point, I remember when "RAISED WHITE LETTERS!" helped sell tires. Maybe if I were running Cragar Mags on a 442, but not on the F-Type. It doesn't add to the look. It detracts. Still, your car, your style choices. If it makes you grin thinking about it, or smile, or even smirk just a little bit, go for it; however, I've got no advice on products that work well.

Ugly on a classy GT car. Now, if you had a huge wing out back and sponsor stickers on other parts of it for a gumball rally or something then I would say...maybe. But short of that it looks VERY out of place.
