Very nice! Congrats. I actually went to the Manhattan dealership today after worK. They had two there. A red one & a black one. Can't wait to get mine. What options did you get?

Thanks for the kind comments. Aside from the looks, the car drives great. It's actually more comfortable than I anticipated, a very usable commuter car, even on rough roads (I commute from NJ to Manhattan daily...horrible roads). The ride and seats are firm, but comfortable. Look forward to getting through the break-in period and getting it out on the track to really get a feel for how it performs.

I spec'd the panoramic roof, vision pack, extended leather, red duotone w/red belts, black pack (really works well with White).

Dremorg, we should get together when yours comes in, I work in Manhattan as well.

Congratulations on your new ride! And welcome to the forum.

I recognize that parking lot -- Madison Jaguar. How did you like buying from them?

Congrats! I also took delivery of my F Type R this past Wednesday. Which radar detector did you go with. I am looking into it myself.

Mjsammon, you are right, purchased the car from Madison Jaguar. They promised an early allocation and delivered, and had all of the paperwork done when I arrived to collect the car so I was very pleased with the experience.

Raj0831, congrats! I went with a Passport Max detector. A lot quieter around town than older detectors with GPS that you can use to lock out false signals (toll booths, etc) which is really handy.

Definitely. I'll let you know when it arrives. It'll be maybe July sometime.
