Default Took ol-girl outta storage too soon..lol

We had a warm break in the weather here in Michigan. Eager to spend time with my new mistress(F-Type V6 S), I took her out of storage in hopes that winter was finally over. Unfortunately, I was soon reminded that winter isn't over here in Michigan...lol

White snow on white car!!
Biggest issue heer is the amunt of road salt dust that blows around like a white cloud when following any large vehicle.
Uually need to wash after every run which gets kind of tiresome. May be reason to get a white car next time!!

Good for you! Life’s too short—and precious—to have any regrets (not that you’ve expressed regret) about taking your vehicle out in the winter, snow or no snow.

Consider yourself part of the 2022 Jaguar F-Type F%^T-It-Tour.

What's this "storage" thing you're referring to?

I joined the club today. Used an IR thermometer to ensure the summer tires weren’t too cold to move. With 50s and 60s in the forecast this week, it’s time.

Yeah, there are birds and rodents in that barn, so I use a Rhino bag to seal it up, with desiccant on the inside and mothballs outside.

I've driven it a couple times, it's just a little too cold for my delicate hands to wash, but probably today.

Join the party, Marko! Had the top down to and from work today. Roads are still quite salty (but dry) however.

I like to think of the garage as my bedroom since I have desired to sleep in my Ftype for the last 6 years of ownership.

Well she came out to play today but may be a tad lame so I’m taking it easy. Discovered a side wall bulge in the driver side front tire that was not there when she went to bed, Not sure why that suddenly appeared as I only over inflated to about 40psi for the winter and while the garage is not heated it never gets below freezing in their. Mostly 40degrees Fahrenheit at the lowest.

that said I’m going to limit the driving until it goes in for its service in two weeks to have that looked at. Not looking forward to getting new shoes at the moment but it is what it is,,,,,,,.

Sorry to hear that about the tyre. Given the corresponding scuff mark on the wheel (I don't think that's the lighting?) it looks like you've caught a pothole or curb and the tyre got compressed against the wheel.

Welcome to the Pirelli Sidewall Bulge Club. I had both front tires develop a sidewall bulge and they had less than 7000 miles on them. They were the OEM tires but I was not the original owner, so Pirelli offerd me ZERO assistance on replacement. When it comes time for a whole new set I’ll be trying Continental Tires. I’ve heard they are equal or maybe better than the P Zero.

Only one problem, they are Michelins (PS4S at a guess) not Pirellis!
And I agree with BritCars it looks like that wheel hit something.

Taking mine out tomorrow (Friday) too. Going to schedule new Michelin PS A/S 4 and new TPMS sensors in a couple weeks.
