Topix Access
Hi all, I have a noise coming from the front left of my f-type 2.0 rwd.
The noise is a single "clack" when steering at low speeds in both side.
After car makes the noise, if I put it in reverse and keep the same steering angle I hear the noise again, if I put it in first gear and go forward I hear the noise again. I'm going crazy...
I did a lot of tests... I removed the wheel and disassemble the upper arm, which is perfect. I disassemble the stub axle and bearing, regreased it and reassembled it, It looks perfect.
I changed the lower steering head, but it's not that either.
I changed the left stabilizer bar link, but it's not that either.
I put new brake pads on.
I thought it was the left shock absorber, I temporarily reversed the shock absorbers, but the noise always comes from the left, so it's not the shock absorber causing the problem.
I lay down on the engine to hear the noise better while a friend was driving the car: the noise comes from the upper part of the chassis and if I put my hand it can be heard near the cross depicted next to the shock absorber attachment. But I don't understand what it is.
The car has 30.000 KM, no accidents and everything is apparently new.
That's why I'm asking if anyone has access to Topix so I can check if there is any document to solve this problem.
You would do me a great favor. I'm also willing to pay.
thanks to anyone who wants to help me

Anyone can get access to Topix.
1. Go to Topix https://topix.jlrext.com
2. Register
3. Once you've registered, click on the Independent Operator Login button
You'll still have to pay for stuff, but hourly access or day access should be good enough for what you need.
