OEM tow hook:
The threaded section is 35mm long and the shaft from he threaded section to the bottom of the eye is 135mm. Outer circumference of the eye is 55mm. Total length: 225mm.
Brilliant, thank you!
I just asked zl1addons if I can get a price for 2 D-rings and 3 shafts with the above thread pattern, with total shaft length of 160, 130 and 100 mm. Don't want it to stick out too far, and I'm guessing the rear tow eye is made for a shorter shaft.

The rear tow hook should not be used to tow the car, only to secure it for transportation. The sheet metal bumper support that the hook threads into is too flimsy to support towing. Dealers are instructed to discard the rear tow hook when they prep the car.

My car came with just the rear tow hook and no front tow hook, go figure!
Anyway I still have the rear tow hook, it is black not silver and the thread is much smaller than that of the front tow hook which means that a/the front tow hook won't fit in the rear thread hole anyway.

That be true. I’m sure they did that to ensure that nobody would be tempted to use the front hook to tow the car from the rear.

OK thank you. Then I will need to revise my request to zl1addons.
Then I need to attach a proper racing tow hook somehow as tow hooks both front and rear are required by the regulations in the Time Attack series I'll be running. I'm sure I can figure out a good location once I get my hands on the vehicle.
Finally got something fabricated. It required using the stem from a tow hook mounted license plate holder as well as an eye from a novelty hook manufacture plus sum additional machining to shorten the stem and tap the right thread to receive the eye. The set up is strictly aesthetic as the entire assembly is nothing but aluminum, and would not withstand the strain of an actual tow. If the car really needs to be towed, this hook will need to be removed and the OEM hook used.
However, it fits very nicely in the void left where the cuts had to be made to get access to the tow hook hole. I’m afraid the look may be a bit to ricerish for me, but I could remove the eye and leave nothing but a the black stem to fill the gap. No one would ever notice. If I leave it, I still need to figure out the proper orientation: vertical, horizontal, sticking out, or flat/parallel to the grille. Stem Tow Eye
Even if someone manufactures a show hook for the F-Type, it will not work for the P7 as it would stick out way too far. The OEM hook is incredibly long to reach through the bumper bar.
I believe that the tow hook hole location is set more to the center of the car and aligned with one of the grille honeycombs. Perhaps @zach05855 could weigh in on this one.
Zach,
It can’t be in the exact same spot since the P7 grille surround covers Half the tow hook hole on the standard F-Type. I thought the P7 hole was inboard a couple inches.
Looks like yours is higher up on the cross member and aligned with the other hole, whereas Unhingd's is a little lower and catches the lower curve of the surround. Maybe the R is higher as well?

I never thought of that. As you suggest, perhaps the V8 location of the hole is different than for the V6, and not just a P7 thing.
I hope you can see this but the receiver is directly behind that honeycomb spline.
I cut away those 2 little crossbars and ground a semicircle into the surround. Murphy’s law: now that it will accommodate the tow hook, I’ll never need it.
