Default Track Listing Option - F-Type stereo

Hi Folks

When playing a track from my iPod through the stereo, the track listing option is greyed out and therefore unavailable - does anyone know why this is?

Thanks in anticipation.

1) How old is the iPod? Maybe it is not fully compatible with the software in the infotainment system. I never had an issue with the Touch I used for a while, but if it is older than that...

2) Hate to ask this question, but have you tried restarting your iPod? They sometimes go a bit...wonky. Or maybe that's me.

It's an iPod Touch and quite a few years old, although the software is up to date. I'll try the restart option and see if that helps - thanks for the tip

I use a first gen iPod and this happens. It's odd though, if I connect via blue tooth then through hardwire, if I pick change device (my phone is on Bluetooth) and select my iPod it connects most of the time. I suspect my issue is the old iPod.
