Traded 2015 for 2016
After 16 months and 26K miles, I made the move today. The 2015 first had a headliner that did not fit properly and the out sourced trim shop has made things worse. After the gas nozzle retro fit the rear quarter trims panels did not fit correctly and I just wanted out.
I was contacted by my excellent sales adviser about a 2016 MSO F Type R in Caldera Red. At first I wasn't thrilled about the idea of ArrestMeRed as I tend to drive quite fast. As negotiations progressed I was finally offered a deal I couldn't refuse. The AWD will help with the torrential downpours we get in Florida. This car has a few less features however the heated windshield and lighted door sills are not important to me. They both had the same wheels however I decided to keep mine which has Michelin Pilot Super Sports and less rim damage. New and old pics

I took a 2016 for a spin this week, and I think it is a worthwhile upgrade. Acceleration is much better, and handling seems slightly improved too with AWD - at least for those of us who like easy to drive - I am sure some enthusiasts would prefer RWD. The nav system is also a bit more up to date and has telematics added. Smart call on the wheels.

While the performance of the F80/82 ZCP is respectable and with tune more so. I can't get over how silly the exhaust sounds. I had to laugh at the interweb racers on bimmerpost talking about the benefits of DCT that shifts milliseconds faster when most of them over there don't track their cars. I've only had her one day but I can tell you already you can get on the power a lot sooner after making a turn or corner. I don't notice any measurable difference in steering coming from the hydraulic system. Snap crackle and pops are about the same however in dynamic mode the supercharge noise seems a little more pronounced. I have to wait till winter to try her out in the quarter mile.
