Default Trunk well Cover?

My 2020 Vert trunk has a deep well with a rim around the top that appears to be able to accept a cover, but I do not have one that would make the trunk flat across the top. Has anyone else found a cover to fill this recess?

My coupe has a panel that covers the well and the battery cover.

Yup....well, this is actually the optional carpet mat on top of the panel but in the coupé the trunk floor is flat with panels installed.

I couldn’t find one so I made my own. 1/4 inch plywood wrapped in material that matches the trunk trim. I think it is speaker box material.

My '17 coup also had the panel to cover lower area, but nothing like that in my '20 Vert. I had hoped that there might be one available from aftermarket supplier, if not OEM. Looks like I might have to get out the jig saw and pattern paper.

It seems this is the part you need: https://parts.jaguarpalmbeach.com/p/...R21083PVJ.html
Your car would/should have come with this from the factory so somehow it has been lost.
Maybe you can find one in good nick at a wrecker's/breaker's/salvage yard for a lot less than the new price.

The verts did not come with a cover. I have never seen one on any. The coupes, yes, Convertibles? No.

Are you sure about that?
Coz the page I linked to definitely says "convertible" and after some more searching of part # T2R21083PVJ they all come up as "convertible", for example part # 11 on this page: https://jaguarpartsestore.com/2021-j...tment-4760750/
Maybe it's a NAS vs ROW thing where the NAS market didn't get it but ROW did???
But if that is the case why would the US page I linked to (Palm Beach Jaguar) show it?
The plot thickens so to resolve this argument we need some US 'vert owners to chime in and answer yeah or nay as to whether they have this cover!

This part looks like correct for convert, but at $787 US I will definitely have to get out the jig saw.

I am positive that in the US, the convertibles did not come with a cover for the recessed well in the truck. I cannot speak for other countries.

Correct. The cover does not exist for USA verts.

So why does it show on both the (US) pages I linked to????
My guess is that it is an optional extra on US verts but either no new car buyer knew about it or if they did no-one ever specced it.

I also have never seen a cover and have contemplated making one (but the current rim IS perfect for holding a pizza flat/still).
FWIW, that P/N shows as compatible for a MY20, as owned by the OP, but not for my MY14.
