Default TSB's and Body Panel Paint Issues - Bubbling/Cracking

This has been talked about, but I can't find what the resolution was.

Bumped into another F owner in town... he has the same issue that others have mentioned regarding the paint where the body panels meet, bubbling and cracking. What was the fix for this and is it covered by JagNA?

Leaving out of town for 10 days, figured if it was a warrantied item, I can get mine fixed.

Fix for mine was a few days.
They take the panel off, and... do something to fix it - didn't ask.
I had Venture Shield in a spot on the bit they took off, and it was gone when they put it back.
So either they strip the thing, sand, repaint, etc - or they replace it.

This was for free, but also just a few days after I had purchased it.

A separate vendor pointed out to me that the body panels are aluminum, but the bottom skirt is plastic. The metal doesn't flex (as much), but the plastic flexes a lot, and causes the rubbing/paint loss there.

Not sure that they have a longer term fix for it, vs just a repaint.

I had Xpel put on the whole car, so they tucked that in there - maybe that will reduce the paint on paint friction.

same here - saw the issues on delivery and brought it back to dealer a week later. They had for 3 days - took panels off - painted and reinstalled them. I check occasionally to see if they re-occur, but nothing yet. So far, only heard of the issue with black and BRG, any other colors, anyone?

Salsa Red V6S, though not bad enough that I've done anything about it yet.

Dang. Was washing the car today and noticed the paint was cracked on the lower side panel. Car is only 3 weeks old... guess I need to make an appointment to get it re-painted.

Salsa Red: Same problem, I asked them to order new factory painted lower but they said they aren't available in colors. They will remove and re-paint but I will wait until later. To anyone encountering this, I'd suggest reporting it to the dealer as soon as possible so they have a record of the issue.
