I'm with you...NOBODY takes care of a car like I do.
That said,
The F is my wife's car, and I need to change many of the entertainment settings after she drives it. (Yes, she complains that SHE needs to do that as well.)
I DO explore the farther reaches of the tachometer, much more than she does. LOVE that Sport Dynamic mode.

While I do agree that I would not rent out my car, for some it is the only way they could afford to own certain cars.
Most any modern Ferrari is out of my reach financially however if I’m careful who I rent it out to through Turo I can own a few dream cars with little or no payments.
It really is a brilliant was to be able to afford to own and drive some exotics.

The guy that bought my last 911 a couple years ago does that as well. I didn't realize it but we had to drive the car to his work garage which is by the airport. On the way he tells me he has a Raptor, Ghibli, the 997.2 he just bought from me and a couple others. He rents them out and since he is conveniently located near the airport I would imagine he does well but I just couldn't see renting out my car. I get the idea but imagine the insurance would be high and also you would need some measure in place to make sure the car isn't beaten or abused. Even in Vegas all their exotics have devices on them which essentially tells them everything.

I rent a couple of my cars out through a company called Vinty where for the most part, they are used for filming, photoshoots, or music videos. My '68 GTO is constantly being requested for such use (probably at least a dozen times this year), while my Pantera has been used in some well known rap videos. But I get to specify in the listing whether or not the car will be driven or just stationary for the shoots. Hagerty has such a service as well, but takes such a large percentage of the rental that it's not worth the trouble, and I removed my cars from that site.
