Default Two touchscreen/sound system questions

Two questions about the touchscreen and sound system of my 2019 F-Type R:
  • Can I create separate widgets/shortcuts to save different audio settings for different genres of music? I have tried to add an audio settings shortcut, but that only takes me to the audio settings screen and I can’t find a way to save pre-sets.
  • I have created a USB thumb drive that stores hundreds of tracks. However, for some albums, I can only choose among a few tracks rather than all the tracks in the album. What might be the solution for this issue?

- I don't believe you can save multiple presets, although you could edit the files themselves and get the same result.
- Check the bitrate on your MP3's. I'm not sure about the MY19 system, but the earlier ones couldn't handle the highest bitrates. As I recall, I capped mine at 256 and was fine.

What do you mean by edit the files? How do you do that?

Edit the MP3's on a computer. I use Audacity, but there are plenty of other programs.

Thanks, but, unfortunately (or fortunately), I have 20 GBs of music on my USB thumb drive, so editing each individual track would ne next to impossible! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

You can search the drive and only deal with files that have a different, (or variable) bit rate, and re compile those only...Or they just won't play on the F-Type system.

Ahhhhh. I was confused. You answered my inquiry regarding MP3s and I thought that you were answering my inquiry regarding shortcuts to pre-set audio settings. 😉
